We take the utmost pride in our installations, as such we always install at above industry standards. Our goal is to provide the best coverage with the most invisible install possible. To achieve this level of installation we do two things. First, we use only the best design and plotting software in the industry. The XPEL Design Access Program (DAP) is optimized for precision and has the most comprehensive pattern repository available. Second, we have a plotting specialist who custom-modifies each pattern to allow for the least amount of visible edges and seams. Our highly-trained installers then wrap and tuck all possible edges of the film underneath and into panels, achieving a truly bespoke installation. Most companies charge a high premium for these added services, but at HQD, quality is our benchmark, so we believe in going the extra mile to achieve it. Paint Protection Film Process
At HQD we aren’t just film installers, we are detailers. So the fine details are a part of everything we do, and as such, we take a few extra steps in our preparation for film installs to ensure the paint underneath looks and feels its best before the film is applied. Your paint will receive:
a decontamination wash
Our decontamination wash removes oils and contamination from your paints surface.
clay bar treatment
Our clay bar treatment is a deep cleaning that pulls contaminants from the clear coat of your vehicle so that it is properly prepped for the coating.
a polish to ensure added smoothness and clarity
The next step is polishing to remove any paint imperfections and prime it for the coating application.
a solvent bath to remove any remaining oils
A solvent bath is the final cleaning step before the coating application and will remove any remaining oils and residues.
